Source text - English 1. Scope of Authorization and Consent
The Client herewith authorizes the Bank to grant the Authorized Office (and its employees, respectively) access so that it is able to examine documents and to obtain and process all relevant information regarding the Client’s account and data (including personal sensitive data) with the Bank, as well as to be handed over account statements and correspondence retained with the Bank. The Client further authorizes the Authorized Office (and its employees, respectively) to transfer the Client data, including personal sensitive data, to the Bank, including for processing. Such Client data may also be transferred to any third party as far as the maintenance of the client relationship and the execution of Client’s orders and instructions requires a transfer and/or processing. This authorization does not cover the right to dispose over the account, to enter into liabilities to the Client›s charge or to decide on investments.
Furthermore, the Client hereby consents to communicate with the Bank exclusively through the Authorized Office. The Client will forward messages and orders addressed to the Bank to the Authorized Office named above. Also verbal orders and orders given by phone may be addressed to the Authorized Office. The Authorized Office – in the sense of a messenger – will forward such orders and messages to the Bank. The Client agrees that the Bank may also send its messages addressed to the Client through the Authorized Office. The client accepts, that this might cause a delay. Finally, the Client acknowledges that the Bank may remunerate the Authorized Office for its function.
2. Transmission of Client Data
The Bank and the Authorized Office will transmit information regarding the account and the Client by means of mail, telefax, phone, electronic means or otherwise, at their free discretion. Electronic means include the use of the Bank’s and the Authorized Office’s own or third party networks, instead of the customary mailing or in addition thereto. The Bank and the
Authorized Office are also authorized to grant each other
electronic access through such networks to the Client data stored in the Bank’s and the Authorized Office’s own electronic systems and to allow each other to place orders by electronic means. The client accepts, that the Bank and the Authorized Office are not liable for damages arising from risks, arising from the transmission of client data by electronic means.
3. Scope of Banking Secrecy
The Client expressly acknowledges that it is not a breach of the banking secrecy if information regarding the Client’s Account is transmitted and made available to the Authorized Office.
4. Validity of the Authorization
This Authorization shall be governed by German law. It shall not expire upon the death, incapacity to act or bankruptcy of the Client. The Authorization shall remain valid towards the Bank until receipt by the Bank of a written revocation.

Por la presente, el cliente autoriza al Banco a conceder a la Oficina Autorizada (y a sus empleados) acceso a toda la información relevante relacionada con el titular de la cuenta y sus datos (incluyendo datos de carácter personal y sensible), de forma que puedan ser examinados y procesados, así como a entregar extractos de la cuenta y correspondencia retenida en el banco. El Cliente, asimismo, autoriza a esta Oficina (y a sus empleados) a transferir al Banco los datos del Cliente, incluidos los datos de carácter personal y sensible que requieran su procesamiento. Igualmente, las instrucciones verbales o telefónicas pueden dirigirse a la Oficina Autorizada. La Oficina Autorizada -en su calidad de mensajera- reenviará las instrucciones y mensajes al Banco. El Cliente conviene que el Banco puede también enviar mensajes dirigidos al Cliente mediante la Oficina Autorizada. El Cliente acepta el retraso que esto pueda originar. Finalmente, El Cliente reconoce que el Banco puede remunerar a la Oficina Autorizada por sus funciones.
2. Transferencia de datos del cliente
El Banco y la Oficina Autorizada transmitirán información relacionada con la cuenta y el Cliente mediante correo, fax, teléfono, medios de transmisión electrónica o, de otra forma, a su discreción. Los medios electrónicos incluyen el uso de las redes propias del Banco, la Oficina Autorizada o de terceros. El Banco y la Oficina Autorizada tienen, asimismo, autoridad para concederse acceso mutuo a los datos del Cliente almacenados en sus sistemas informáticos mediante dichas redes, así como realizar pedidos por medios electrónicos. El Cliente conviene que el Banco y la Oficina Autorizada no son responsables de los incidentes ocasionados por los riesgos derivados de la transmisión de datos del cliente por medios electrónicos.
3. Margen del secreto bancario
El Cliente reconoce expresamente que la transmisión de información relacionada con la cuenta del Cliente a la Oficina Autorizada no constituye una violación del acuerdo de secreto bancario.
4. Validez de la autorización
La presente autorización está regulada por la ley alemana. No expirará en caso de fallecimiento, incapacidad para actuar, o quiebra del Cliente. La autorización permanecerá válida hasta que el Banco reciba su revocación por escrito.

Im Orionnebel haben Astronomen eine riesige Produktionsstätte von H2O-Molekülen
entdeckt

Wasser ist das Elixier allen irdischen Lebens, ohne das kein Organismus einen Stoffwechsel betreiben und existieren könnte. Doch auf den übrigen Planeten unseres Sonnensystems und auf fernen Sternen schien der Stoff bislang rar zu sein. Jetzt abe haben Astronomen eine gigantische Produktionsstätte von Wassermolekülen (H2O) im Orionnebel entdeckt.
Mit dem von der Europäischen Raumfahrtagentur Esa und der amerikanischen Nasa betriebenen Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) hatten Astronomen eine interstellare Gaswolke im Orionnebel beobachtet. Den Wasserdampfgehalt der Wolke konnte sie anhand charakteristischer Spektrallinien im Bereich des langwelligen Infrarotspektrums messen: Er erwies sich zur Überraschung der Forscher als 20mal so gross wie bei anderen interstellaren Wolken. Die gigantische, überwiegend aus Wasserstoffmolekülen bestehende Wolke dehnt sich über anderthalb Billionen Kilometer aus.
Wie der im All schwebende Wasserdampf entsteht, erklären die Forscher so: Ein in der Nähe sich formender, junger Stern schleudert während seiner “Geburtswehen” immer wieder Gasfontänen mit hoher Geschwindigkeit ins All hinaus.
Diese Schokwellen verdichten und erhitzen das Gas der Wolke, so dass es sich auf Temperaturen von mehr als 90 Grad Celsius aufheizt und sich Wasserstoffatome mit ebenfalls darin enthaltenen Sauerstoffatomen verbinden:
“Die Gaswolke im Orion scheint eine riesige chemische Fabrik zu sein”, sagt ISO-Teammitglied David Neufeld von der Johns Hopkins University. “An einem einzigen Tag entstehen dort genug Wassermoleküle, um die irdischen Ozeane 60mal zu füllen.”
Auch ein Grossteil des Wassers in unserem Sonnensystem dürfte bei einem ähnlichen Vorgang entstanden sein, vermuten die Astrophysiker. So erscheint durchaus möglich, dass die H2O-Moleküle unserer irdischen Meere in Urzeiten als kosmische Wasserwolke durchs All gewabert sind.

El agua es ese elixir sin el cual no habría vida en la tierra. Sin ella, ningún organismo podría desarrollarse ni tan siquiera existir. Es más, hasta ahora, se la consideraba una materia más bien escasa tanto en el resto de los planetas que conforman nuestro sistema solar como en las estrellas más alejadas. Sin embargo, un equipo de astrónomos estadounidenses ha descubierto una concentración masiva de vapor de agua (H2O) en la Nebulosa de Orión.
Gracias al observatorio espacial de infrarrojos ISO, lanzado al espacio por la Agencia Europea del Espacio en colaboración con la NASA; los astrónomos pudieron observar una nube de gas interestelar en la Nebulosa de Orión. El equipo consiguió medir el contenido en vapor de agua de la nube mediante el espectrómetro de gran longitud de onda del ISO. Para sorpresa de los astrónomos, el contenido en vapor de agua resultó 20 veces superior al de otras nubes interestelares. La gigantesca nube, compuesta en su mayoría de moléculas de hidrógeno, comprende una extensión de 1.500 años luz.
Los astrónomos explicaron cómo se origina el vapor de agua que flota en el universo: “Momentos antes de su formación, una estrella cercana y joven sufre peculiares ‘dolores de parto’, que provocan fuertes y sucesivas emisiones de gas y polvo hacia el espacio exterior a gran velocidad.
Las ondas de choques que se derivan de este escenario hacen que el gas de la nube se comprima y caliente a temperaturas de más de 90 ºC. En estas condiciones, se calientan y combinan átomos de hidrógeno con átomos de oxígeno”, elemento también presente en la nube.
“La nube de gas de Orión se perfila como una inmensa fábrica química”, señaló David Neufeld, miembro del equipo del ISO y profesor de la Universidad Johns Hopkins. “En un sólo día, se producen suficientes moléculas de agua como para llenar los océanos de la Tierra hasta 60 veces”.
“Es más, la mayor parte del agua existente en nuestro sistema solar podría haberse originado de un proceso similar”, asumen los astrofísicos. Por lo tanto, parece bastante posible el hecho de que, en tiempos muy remotos, las moléculas de H2O que se encuentran en los mares de nuestro planeta hayan flotado en el espacio en forma de nube de agua cósmica.
