1 - Definitions
1.1 "Tax" or "Taxes" means any form of taxation, levy, duty, charge, contribution or withholding of whatever nature (including without limitation, income, value added, excise, customs duties, tariffs, stamp, transfer, property, occupancy, use, real estate, sales, payroll, gains, gross receipts, withholding, franchise taxes and any other similar fiscal payments that may replace or append the existing ones) together with any related fine, penalty, surcharge or interest imposed in connection with such taxes, levies, duties, charges, contributions or withholdings, collected or assessed by, or payable to, any Tax Authority.
1.2 "Tax Authority" means any government, state or municipality or any local, state, federal or other authority, body or official anywhere in the world exercising a fiscal, revenue, customs or excise function (including, without limitation, the Iraqi General Commission for Taxes).
1.3 "Tax Law" means any law for the time being in force in so far as it relates to or is connected with Tax and law for these purposes shall be treated as including the prevailing practice of the relevant Tax Authority.

1.1 "Налог" или "Налоги" означает любую форму налогообложения, налог, пошлину, денежный сбор, взнос или налоговый вычет любого вида (включая помимо прочего доход, добавленную стоимость, акцизы, таможенные пошлины, тарифы, гербовый сбор, социальные выплаты, собственность, аренду, амортизацию, недвижимость, продажи, расчет заработной платы, прибыль, валовой доход, удержание, налог на концессию и любые другие подобные финансовые платежи, которые могут заменить или добавить существующие) вместе с любыми штрафами, пени, дополнительными выплатами или процентами, установленными в связи с такими налогами, сборами, пошлинами, взносами и вычетами, собранными или подсчитанными, или подлежащими уплате в любом Налоговом Органе.
1.2 "Налоговый орган" означает любой государственный, муниципальный, местный или федеральный или иной орган, организацию или должностное лицо в любой точке мира осуществляющие финансовые, доходные, таможенные или акцизные функции (в том числе Генеральную Комиссии по налогам Ирака).
1.3 "Налоговое право" означает какой-либо действующий на данный момент закон, который распространяется или связан с налогообложением и широко применяется в практике соответствующего налогового органа.
