I started my career rigth after graduation, in the Summer of 2006.

Since then, I have worked both as a freelance and in-house translator, which allowed me to fully understand the Translation industry and its unique needs. As a freelance translator, I had the opportunity to work for direct clients and learn what their needs, requirements and expectations are; as an in-house translator, I had the chance to work ‘from the inside’ and better understand the translation workflow and quality guidelines. I consider these to be very important assets when it comes to deliver the best translation possible. But there are a few other golden skills.

One of those skills is to be absolutely proficient in our native language and in the source language(s) and its culture. It is vital to have strong interpreting capabilities, to easily understand the target audience of the text and translate accordingly. Good and reliable online resources, as well as the good use of CAT tools, are as important as the translation skills themselves, by allowing translators to increase speed and productivity and also to keep consistency across translated files. I believe I match this profile and, ultimately, I might become an asset to your company.
