Source text - English FRENCH CHANNELS SIGN UP TO NEW PLATFORM MOLOTOV, SIGNALS MAJOR SHIFT IN GLOBAL TV DISTRIBUTION
The start up launched last June by French TV and Internet industry veterans secures agreements from 80 French TV channels, keeping its promise to disrupt the current TV distribution offering.
Paris, X October 2015: Molotov, the new television distribution platform revealed last June by leading French media entrepreneurs Jean-David Blanc and Pierre Lescure, have announced completed distribution agreements with television outlets TF1, France Télévisions, M6, Arte, Nextradio TV, Lagardère Active, La Chaine Parlementaire, Public Sénat, Groupe AB, Disney Channel, Turner, Viacom, Euronews, France 24, TV5 Monde, TRACE Media Group, Gong média, Nolife, Nautical Channel, Les Chaines Interactives, Fashion TV and Luxe TV.
Over 80 French and international channels* (90% of the most-watched TV channels in France**) will now be available on Molotov, which aims “to reinvent how we watch television.” Molotov will continue to expand its available content in the coming months with the arrival of new channels and services such as: OCS, the 100% movies and series package, and beINSports, the premium sports channel package.
WASTED TV
Backed by Idinvest Partners, a European leader in private equity, and a group of private investors, Molotov intends to disrupt viewers’ habits and usage by offering a brand new experience to access TV programmes and channels.
“So many networks sharing our vision right at our beginning signals a major shift in the industry,” commented Jean-David Blanc. “TV networks and their programmes are instinctively blamed for the fast loss of audiences, in particular among younger – or more connected - ones. Molotov believes this is aiming at wrong target: it is not so much television content that is to blame, but the way it is broadcasted. Online content is no more relevant than the content broadcasted on television, but it is promoted better and, not least, more easily accessible.”
Set-top boxes and TV manufacturers have improved their interfaces, but it makes no difference. The TV channels, superimposed on each other like a thousand layers in a cake, are choking each other out. And EPGs (Electronic Programme Guides and their “programming schedule”) have become too stodgy for viewers to stomach.
Meanwhile, platforms born in the Internet era such as YouTube, Dailymotion and Netflix have given rise to new habits. They encourage immediacy, accessibility, sharing, time control, mobility and interactivity. Going back to the TV set becomes something of a chore.
Yet TV companies invest billions of Euros in programmes every year. Programmes which, in many cases, never get to meet their audience, either because they are too difficult to access or, even worse, the audience isn’t even aware of their existence.

A partir de ahora, más de 80 canales franceses e internacionales (un 90% de los canales de televisión más vistos de Francia) estarán disponibles en Molotov, cuyo objetivo consiste en «reinventar la manera en que vemos la televisión». Los fabricantes de televisores y decodificadores han mejorado sus interfaces, pero eso no tiene importancia. Y las EPG (guías electrónicas de programas y sus «horarios de programación») se han convertido en algo extremadamente tedioso para los telespectadores.

Source text - English Sections 327 and 328 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002
By virtue of section 327 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 a person is guilty of Money Laundering if he conceals, disguises, converts or transfers criminal property or if he removes criminal property from England and Wales.
A person convicted of an offence contrary to sections 327 or 328 shall be liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years or to a fine or both (section 334 Proceeds of Crime Act 2002).
Section 6 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 makes provision for the confiscation of convicted persons’ benefit from Crime; Section 7 defines Criminal lifestyle. The offences under sections 327 and 328 are offences which engage the criminal lifestyle provisions entitling the court to consider any assets in which the convicted person had an interest in the 6 years prior to the date of conviction.
Acquisition, use and possession of Criminal Property. Section 329 Proceeds of Crime Act 2002
(1) A person commits an offence if he—
(a) acquires criminal property;
(b) uses criminal property;
(c) has possession of criminal property.
(2) But a person does not commit such an offence if—
(a) he makes an authorised disclosure under section 338 and (if the disclosure is made before he does the act mentioned in subsection (1)) he has the appropriate consent;
(b) he intended to make such a disclosure but had a reasonable excuse for not doing so;
(c) he acquired or used or had possession of the property for adequate consideration;
(d) the act he does is done in carrying out a function he has relating to the enforcement of any provision of this Act or of any other enactment relating to criminal conduct or benefit from criminal conduct.
(3) For the purposes of this section—
(a) a person acquires property for inadequate consideration if the value of the consideration is significantly less than the value of the property;
(b) a person uses or has possession of property for inadequate consideration if the value of the consideration is significantly less than the value of the use or possession;
(c) the provision by a person of goods or services which he knows or suspects may help another to carry out criminal conduct is not consideration.
Translation - Spanish Artículos 327 y 328 de la Ley relativa a los Productos del Delito de 2002
A tenor de lo dispuesto en el artículo 327 de la Ley relativa a los Productos del Delito de 2002, una persona es culpable del delito de blanqueo de capitales si oculta, encubre, convierte o transfiere bienes producto del delito o si traslada bienes producto del delito fuera de Inglaterra y Gales.
Una persona condenada por un delito que contraviene los artículos 327 o 328 será condenada, tras una acusación formal, a una pena de prisión no superior a catorce años, al pago de una multa o a ambas cosas (artículo 334 de la Ley relativa a los Productos del Delito de 2002).
El artículo 6 de la Ley relativa a los Productos del Delito de 2002 contempla el decomiso de los bienes producto del delito propiedad de personas condenadas y el artículo 7 define el término «estilo de vida delictivo». Los delitos contemplados en los artículos 327 y 328 hacen referencia a las disposiciones sobre el estilo de vida delictivo que autorizan al tribunal a considerar cualquier activo en el que la persona haya tenido algún tipo de interés durante los seis años anteriores a la fecha de la condena.
Adquisición, uso y posesión de bienes producto del delito. Artículo 329 de la Ley sobre los Productos del Delito de 2002
(1) Una persona comete un delito si:
(a) adquiere bienes producto del delito;
(b) utiliza bienes producto del delito;
(c) está en posesión de bienes producto del delito.
(2) Pero una persona no comete tal delito si:
(a) realiza una revelación autorizada de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 338 y (en caso de efectuar la revelación antes de llevar a cabo el acto mencionado en el subartículo [1]) obtiene el consentimiento pertinente;
(b) tenía la intención de realizar dicha revelación, pero tenía un motivo razonable para no hacerlo;
(c) adquirió, utilizó o estuvo en posesión de estos bienes para una gestión adecuada de los mismos;
(d) realiza el acto durante el desempeño de una función relacionada con la ejecución de cualquier disposición de esta ley o de cualquier otra promulgación relacionada con conductas delictivas o beneficios obtenidos de conductas delictivas.
(3) A efectos de este artículo:
(a) una persona adquiere bienes por una contraprestación inadecuada si el valor de la contraprestación es significativamente inferior al valor de la propiedad;
(b) una persona utiliza o está en posesión de bienes por una contraprestación inadecuada si el valor de la contraprestación es significativamente inferior al valor del uso o la posesión;
(c) el suministro, por parte de una persona, de bienes o servicios que sabe o sospecha que podrían ayudar a otra persona a llevar a cabo una conducta ilícita no constituye una contraprestación.

The winner was awarded a seat at the Lord’s table, a tradition that continues today: the poet who writes the best verse in the
strict metre known as cynghanedd is given a chair, while the best ‘free verse’ wins its author a crown.
These ceremonies – the Crowning and Chairing of the Bard – still form the solemn centrepiece of any big eisteddfod, but they’re just a small part of the whole picture, which sees hotly contested competitions for all kinds of arts, from choirs and dance troupes to recitation and rock. Above all, it’s just a lot of fun: communities getting together to show off their skills on stage, and having a good time into the bargain.”

As a historian, you can’t help but look at the world differently. When I walk around Wales, I see a landscape completely shaped by its past. People think that what you see is a beautiful natural landscape, but it’s not. Beautiful it may very well be, but it’s a landscape that’s been deforested by our ancient ancestors, and shaped by industrial farming. I look around and see the struggles of hill farmers across the generations on what is often quite marginal land. I see evidence of 18th-century
enclosure, of industrial revolution. And, of course, there are the castles…
You can’t walk around Wales without seeing a castle. What that tells me as a historian is very simple: you’re walking across a landscape that was at one stage militarised and heavily contested. When you see the castles in Wales, they may look romantic now, but they’re an indication of terrible violence, bloodshed, and hatred. Wales has been fought over by so many different groups in its history. Wales itself
was divided into different little statelets, which fought against each other, and of course they fought against the English. It’s a remarkable, wild landscape, one that took the English hundreds of years to try and tame, so these castles are a vivid reminder of that period.
What about the industrial heritage? Wales was the first region on earth where more people had industrial jobs than agricultural jobs, and there are so many fascinating memorials to this. When you visit places like Big Pit – which is the most amazing museum in Europe, by the way – and see its pit head and go underground with a real ex-miner, it reminds you of the extraordinary changes that have taken place, just in the last 200 years. When you add that to the last 5,000 years of history –
well, it’s almost overwhelming.
