Bio
I am from Albania. I studied foreign languages in high school and I graduated from the University of Shkodra, Albania, in 2000, with a degree in English Teaching and/or Translation. I also completed my studies of Albanian Language and Literature at the same University, with the degree "Teacher/Specialist of Albanian Language and Literature". From 2001 to 2006, I pursued doctoral studies in Graz, Austria, with literary and cultural studies as my main field, and linguistics as my second field. In October 2007, I defended my PhD at Karl-Franzens University of Graz in Austria.
I have been engaged in translation work for over 17 years. I have translated various texts, articles, summaries, legal documents, and interpreted for several international organizations like UNOPS, EUMM, FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY INTERNATIONAL, ALBANIAN ENCOURAGEMENT PROJECT, WORD FOUNDATION, etc,. This has exposed me to various fields of life and communication and has sharpened my English, Albanian, and Italian translation/interpreting skills. I usually work on separate projects, depending on the interest of the clients and the expertise I offer.
