Welcome to my profile,



My name is Rafael Rodriguez and I'm freelance translator with over 17 years of experience working with the language pairs DE>ES and EN>ES.

After finishing my BA in English Philology I was able to acquire experience in different fields such as tourism, PR, EU affairs, technical and localization.

I have worked for leading companies in all of the fields mentioned above and for some of them I still work as a freelance translator nowadays.

In my role as a translator I have worked for a well known LGTBQ+ travel guide, software for registry cleaning, websites (social networking and mobile applications), as well as different projects for the UE dealing with environmental issues, energy, different directives and agriculture (safety guides) among others.

I have over 5 years experience working for top publishing houses, translation agencies and social network companies.



Learning new things is my passion and that's the reason why I'm always enrolled in different courses. In 2011 I finished a Master Degree in Multimedia Translation (Localization, Doubling and Subtitling) and 2018 a Master Degree in Graphic Design, while 2020 was the year for web and UI design.
