Ten years of technical experience puts me in a unique position to do outstanding work in the biology/chemistry/lab field. I have worked as a translator since 2006, but retained research work in parallell. This has kept me completely updated in my specialization fields.
I translate from English and French into Swedish, with particular preference for anything touching Biology/Biochemistry/Biotech, Pharma and general medicine.
I have a PhD degree in molecular biology from Uppsala University, Sweden and considerable post doctoral experience, which has given me fluency in Scientific English and Swedish. I have also lived abroad for many years (France, Zimbabwe), and acquired a high level of French and a near native level of English.
My other accomplishments include a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Poitiers, France, a high degree in French from the Sorbonne, and Bachelor's degree in Ecclesiology from Uppsala.
I am a skilled knitter, with full masterage of terminology in English, French and Swedish. I have also touched on many other textile techniques, and would be very happy to do translation or editing work in these fields (combining hobbies and work makes for fun work!).
