I am a native English speaker with over 11 years experience as a Korean linguist and translator. I also specialize in natural language processing and software localization. Military Linguist: I was trained at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, where I graduated at the top of my class on listening, reading, and speaking proficiency tests. Computational Linguist: After leaving military service, I spent seven years with SYSTRAN Software, Inc., directing the development of NLP projects including Korean machine translation.
