I specialized in two
fields I am interested in for different reasons.

Audiovisual
translation and subtitling let me use creatively my mastery of Italian language
to give both dialogues and narrative those nuances and peculiarities that they
were intended to have, but aimed at Italian readers. My long-lasting passion
for subtitling and for videogames still feeds my enthusiasm. My clients
appreciate my deep care for detail and the high degree of analysis I devote to
both the translation and the source text.

Legal and commercial
translation, on the contrary, demands a high degree of language precision, in
order to convey ideas and words leaving no doubts about their meaning, thus
preventing interpretation issues and potential litigations. In my 10-year work
experience as an employee for large international companies I read, wrote and
made large use of contracts and regulations; later, I specialized in Italian
civil and commercial law to add to my linguistic knowledge a more thorough
comprehension of this subject.

About me? I'm interested in fitness, nutrition, retrogames, Japanese language, culture and tv series,
crochet, cosmetics, heavy metal, and - of course - cats. I also try and help elderly people with dementia.
