I have translated for the following companies: Daimler-Chrysler, Opel, Dürr, Åker, Dekra, Escada, Henkel, Jostra, Metecno, Saniform, Strothman, Merck. Press releases and Web sites: Havanna Lounge, Travemunde Week (second largest sailing venue in Germany), Esprya, Gill, illbruck.
I am now based in Lübeck, Germany and Bormio, Italy.
I have translated many academic texts (historical and philosophical), as well as poetry, prose and plays. I have written press releases for several renowned German companies and translated Web sites.
I work for translation agencies in Manchester, Berlin, Hamburg and Stuttgart on a regular basis, as well as for the German playwright Kai Grehn, the photographer Frank Kunert, the artist Susanne Dorendorff, and the German authors Steffen Kopetzky and Sudabeh Mohafez.
I do regular work for KPP Event GmbH in Düsseldorf, Avantgarde in Cologne and Stein Promotions in Hamburg. I have also worked for amadeo atelier in Düsseldorf and Galerie Urs Meile in Lucerne / Beijing. My most recent translation for the latter was Bachmann & Banz (Helter Skelter: Painting with the Beatles) and Ai Wei Wei: A Bowl of Pearls by Peter Pakesch (the director of the Kunsthaus Graz).

Nikolai’s Secret based on the story Once a Year by Anton Chekhov, a radio play for children by Heidi Knetsch and Stefan Richwien. It was broadcast by Sender Freies Berlin in Spring 2003.
In den fahlen, grauen Tagen (In the pale, gray days), a radio play by Geneviève Letarte, broadcast by Sender Freies Berlin, 2001.
The Words of Monelle based on the story, Le Livre de Monelle by Marcel Schwob. A radio play by Kai Grehn, broadcast by Sender Freies Berlin. The play won 2nd place at the Prix Markulik in Croatia, 2001.
Private Commissions
In Winter 2003 I translated the novel All Alone: The Wartime Story of a Little Girl written by Sabine Welsch-Lehmann, at the author’s request, for submission in the USA. The German edition of the work, Ganz Allein: Die Kriegsgeschichte eines kleinen Mädchens, was published in March 2001 by K. Fischer Verlag, Aachen.
In September 2000 I translated a speech written by Steffen Kopetzky about a game show, soccer and the novel All Souls by Xavier Marías. Mr. Kopetzky held the speech in honor of Xavier Marías who read from All Souls at the Renaissance Theater in Munich.
In Summer 2000 I was asked by the authors Steffen Kopetzky and Tobias Rosefeldt to translate a project synopsis entitled Europe in Mirrors: An Anthology of European Consciousness.
