Vrijeme i mjesto održavanja simpozijuma
Znanstveni simpozijum održat će se u Osijeku u drugoj polovici mjeseca rujna 2004. godine
Okvirni sadržaj simpozijuma
Sustav prometne infrastructure jedan je od ključnih čimbenika koji međusobno i višestruko utječe na gospodarski, socijalni i prostorni razvitak država, pa i regija na području više država.
Složeni prometni koridor Vc (cestovni, željeznički, riječni i zračni promet) kao poveznica Sjeverne – Srednje i Južne Europe predstavlja izuzetnu vrijednost u kontekstu procesa gospodarske i prometne integracije srednjoeuropskog prostora.
Omogućava društveno, kulturno i civilizacijsko prožimanje različitih država i regija s razvojnim pobudama, šansama i mogućnostima u širem prostoru svog utjecaja, odnosno stvara pretpostavke za buduću euroregionalnu suradnju u najširem smislu.
Planiranje gospodarskog razvitka, odnosno njegovog bitnog elemnta prostora – prometnog koridora, izuzetno je složen i odgovoran proces s obvezom multidisciplinarnog pristupa u cilju sagledavanja svih mogućih pozitivnih ali i negativnih implikacija.
Okoliš i briga za okoliš, postaje jedan od najvažnijih elemenata uređenja prostora, jer jedino skladan i uravnotežen razvitak donosi opću dugoročnu korist i osigurava kvalitetniji život primjeren čovjeku.
Izgradnja koridora (posebno autoceste) pretvara prirodni i kulturni krajolik, mijenja sliku krajobraza, narušava sklad flore i faune te u značajnoj mjeri degradira prostor, što svim sudionicama realizacije ovog projekta nameće posebnu odgovornost.
Ovaj simpozijum trebao bi kroz referate dati interdisplinarno i sveobuhvatno sagledavanje svih implikacija izgradnje Koridora Vc s posebnim naglaskom na

The Scientific symposium will be held in the second half of September 2004 in Osijek.
Symposium general contents
Traffic infrastructure system is one of the key factors that mutually and severalfold influences the economic, social and spatial development of a country, as well as the regions on the territory of other countries.
The complex traffic Corridor Vc (road, railway, river and air traffic) which connects Northern, Central and Southern Europe represents exceptional value in the process of economic and traffic integration of the Central European area.
The Corridor enables social, cultural and civilizational fusion of different countries and regions that have the development motives, chances and possibilities in a broad area of its influence, in other words, it creates the assumptions for future euroregional co-operation in the broadest sense.
Planning of Econonomic development, actually planning its crucial element of space – the traffic Corridor, is a very complex and responsible process which requires a multidisciplinary approach with an objective that considers all possible positive and negative implications.
Environment and care for it becomes one of the most important elements of spatial planning . Only harmonious and balanced development produces a general long-term benefit and insures better quality of life, that is suitable for a man.
The building of the Corridor (especially the highway construction) transforms natural and cultural landscape, changes the landscape scene, interrupts the flora and fauna harmony. It degrades the area in significant proportion, which imposes special responsibility on all the participants in realization of this project.
The reports on this symposium should give an interdisciplinary and comprehensive consideration of all the implications that could affect the construction of the Corridor Vc. A special accent should be on
