Comment:
I have NEVER been late with ANY of my assignments.
My work, when checked by German engineers working at branch offices of Japanese companies (Nikon, Fuji etc.) in Germany, usually earns a very good reputation.

Rates Japanese agencies have been paying me for over 25 years and
which never increased in spite of the constantly rising costs of living:
(I am therefore today significantly cheaper than 15-20 years ago!)
J - G: ca. 10 Yen (0.08 Euro, 2023/3/17) per source character
J - E: 10 Yen (0.078 Euro, 2016/8/1) per source character
E - G: 18.00 JPY = 0.157648 EUR (2016/8/1) per source word
G - E: 17.00 JPY = 0.148881 EUR (2016/8/1) per source word

Rate based on Japanese characters: ca. 10 Yen per character (J-G)
These rates are often considered not "competitive", but are necessary to survive in this country.
These rates may vary with material, volume and deadline. (When I checked the listings of other translators on various translator sites, it shows, that my rate is actually at the lower end of a rather wide range.)

CAT tools: memoQ, Across, Fluency, some open source software, including OmegaT
