My skills and academic background
My name is Núria Ollero, and I am a native Catalan and Spanish (from Spain) linguist,
with academic knowledge in Editing/Proofreading and Journalism/Communication. I have a Bachelor in Journalism (UAB), a Post degree in Editing in Spanish (URV), a Master in Communication Direction (Dircom) (UPF-BSM), and a Master in SEO. I also have the official C2 certificate in Catalan, the highest available for this language, issued by Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia).

I am a perfectionist, detail-oriented person who loves offering the maximum quality.

I have more than 5 years of experience as a full-time editor, proofreader, translator/transcreator, and MTPE, and more than 10 years in the communications field.

My professional experience and expertise
Due to my academic background in the communications field and SEO, I have worked as a Media Manager in several Communication departments doing copywriting/content creation tasks (web content, blog posts, market research reports, press releases, brochures...). I have also been the webmaster and the online marketer for several companies, being in charge of the backend, SEO keyword research, and marketing on Social Media.

So, as a reviewer/proofreader/translator/transcreator, my main field of specialization is marketing and online marketing. I have worked on projects for top brands of all kinds (online shopping, jewelry, consumer electronics, beauty...), but I also have wide experience in medical and pharmaceutical content. I specialize in medical devices UI, patient brochures, and IFUs. I usually work as an LQA expert for an important American medical manufacturer.

I have also wide experience in editing, localization, and testing for software UI, especially mobile phones. I am in charge of these kinds of tasks for 1 of the most important Chinese manufacturers since 2021.

Multi-faceted profile
In addition, throughout my career, I have also performed other different kinds of tasks, such as DTP and voice-over, so my multi-faceted profile permits me to offer a complete range of services altogether, which helps to meet tight deadlines more easily and maximize the client's budget.
