Source text - Portuguese A partir de nossas experiências de pesquisa etnográfica, percebemos que conviver com travestis que se prostituem mostra que a concepção de “travesti” como uma identidade fixa ou um grupo homogêneo é perigosamente exotificante e simplificadora, na medida em que distorce as singularidades de cada trajetória e as especificidades de cada contexto. As mudanças corporais das travestis e a sua compreensão estão sempre envolvidas em uma tensa negociação e diálogo, que envolve travestis de perfis diversos, tecnologias, hierarquias e demandas dos clientes no mercado do sexo. Como sugere Butler (2004), a performatividade de gênero não pode ser teorizada separadamente da prática forçosa e reiterativa de outros regimes regulatórios e marcadores sociais da diferença, como idade e geração, que ficam bastante evidentes nos relatos recolhidos em campo.
Translation - English From our experiences of ethnographic research, we realized that living with prostitute travestis show that the conception of the 'travesti' as a fix identity or homogenous group make it dangerously exotic and simplistic as it distorts the singularities of each trajectory and the specificities of each context. The travesti body changes and its understanding are always involved in tense negotiation and dialogue, involving travestis of different profiles, technologies, hierarchies and client's demands in the sex market. As Butler (2004) suggests, gender performativity cannot be theorized separately from the forcible and reasserting practices of other regulatory regimen and social markers of difference, such as age and generation, which was quite evident from the field reports.

Source text - English Targeting Color With HSL and Split Toning
HSL is simple to use. Grab the target adjustment tool for saturation to click and drag down to reduce the richness of a specific range of colors. I desaturate the green tones, lower the saturation and brighten for skin tones. In this shoot, I also want to enhance the blue tones in their clothing, which I can do quickly. Once I correct the color and tonal range for the image, I can start to add some creative effects like split toning. We can add some tones to match a warmer mood and add some purple tones to the shadows.
Under Split Toning highlights, I like to drag the hue slider between red and yellow to dial in a nice orangish tone. Moving saturation to the right acts like an amount slider. The same goes for shadows: We can adjust the hue slider between the blue and red for a purple tone. This creates a warm to cool look that’s great for these winter portraits.

O HSL é fácil de usar. Pegue a ferramenta de ajuste-alvo para saturação e então clique e arraste para baixo de forma a reduzir a riqueza de um grupo específico de cores. Eu dessaturo os tons verdes, diminuo a saturação e brilho nos tons de pele. Nessa foto, eu também quero aumentar os tons azuis nas roupas deles, o que eu posso fazer rapidamente. Assim que termino de corrigir as cores e o alcance de tons da imagem, eu posso começar a adicionar alguns efeitos criativos, como o Split Toning (Tonalização Dividida). Podemos adicionar alguns tons para dar a impressão de clima mais quente e adicionar alguns tons roxos nas sombras.
Na parte de highlights (Realces), do Split Toning, eu gosto de deixar o ajuste de Hue (Matiz) entre o vermelho e amarelo para inserir um bom tom alaranjado. Mover a saturação para a direita funciona como um ajuste de quantidade. O mesmo vale para as sombras: podemos deixar o ajuste de Hue entre o azul e vermelho para conseguir um tom roxo. Isso cria um visual que vai do quente ao frio, que é ótimo para esses retratos de inverno.

I cannot stress enough the importance of research before going on any kind of trip, large or small, domestic or international. You have the breadth of human knowledge at your fingertips. You have no excuse going unprepared.
I read reviews of everything when we travel, including reviews, forums and blogs on restaurants, hotels and other services. I use TripAdvisor.com religiously overseas. Sure, it’s littered with nonsense and terrible information, but if you get smarter about the phrases you use when searching, the results can be a game changer for you. Just type in the exact question you have in your head, and you’ll be amazed at how many other people posted the exact same question.
Don’t ignore blogs. I spend hours reading travel blogs about other people’s experiences at our planned destinations. This is a great way to get real-world advice from someone who has been where you’re going. There’s a lot of crap out there. Weed through the ones that don’t fit what you’re looking to accomplish, and you’ll find some gold.

Source text - Portuguese Em meio a constante evolução tecnológica, a percepção de uma nova cultura é refletida na sociedade, é a chamada cibercultura, onde as tecnologias digitais estão cada vez mais presentes na vida das pessoas. Ao mesmo tempo em que essa cultura promete benefícios, novas habilidades são exigidas para que de fato suas possibilidades cheguem a todos. Através dessa temática, desenvolveu-se este relatório de pesquisa, explorando o letramento digital e a escola como elementos necessários para o aprendizado dos novos conhecimentos colocados pela cibercultura. Considerando o objetivo geral, este estudo busca analisar como o letramento digital pode ser trabalhado no ensino público, a fim de impulsionar a inclusão digital dos alunos em uma sociedade que se desenvolve através das tecnologias digitais. Além disso, esta monografia busca caracterizar a potencialidade da cibercultura na educação, conceituando termos importantes e recorrentes na área, além de apontar como o governo tem investido em políticas públicas voltadas para o letramento e inclusão digital da comunidade escolar. Como aporte teórico, foram utilizados os estudos de Lévy (1999), Silveira (2001, 2005), Freitas (2009, 2010), Velloso (2010), Mill (2011, 2013), Belloni (2003), Pretto (2006), Almeida (2005), dentre outros autores. Para atingir os objetivos propostos, adotou-se como procedimento metodológico a realização de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, coletando os dados através de investigações em livros e trabalhos científicos publicados na área, analisando de forma qualitativa as informações obtidas. Como resultado, este estudo pôde confirmar a importância do letramento digital no processo de inclusão digital, evidenciando o papel da escola e do professor, como fundamentais neste processo. Além do mais, esta pesquisa mostrou que apropriar-se das tecnologias digitais e incorporá-las ao ambiente escolar, torna possível a oferta de novos recursos capazes de auxiliar o professor e o aluno no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, permitindo novas práticas e meios de se buscar uma educação de melhor qualidade.
Translation - English Amidst the continuous technological evolution, the perception of a new culture is reflected upon society. It’s called Cyber Culture, where digital technology is increasingly present on people’s life. At the same time this culture promises benefits, it demands new skills so its possibilities can reach everyone. This research report has been developed through this theme, exploring digital literacy and the school as required elements for learning the new knowledge made available by cyber culture. Regarding the main objective, this study seeks to analyze how digital literacy can be worked on public education, in order to boost digital inclusion on students who are in a society that develops through digital technologies. Furthermore, this monograph seeks to describe the potential of cyber culture on education, adding concepts to important and recurring terms on this area, in addition to pointing how the Government has invested on public policies for digital literacy and inclusion of the school community. As theoretical background, the studies from Lévy (1999), Silveira (2001, 2005), Freitas (2009, 2010), Velloso (2010), Mill (2011, 2013) Belloni (2003), Pretto (2006), Almeida (2005), among others, have been used. To achieve the proposed objectives, the completion of a bibliographical research has been adopted as methodological procedure, by collecting data through the investigation of books and scientific papers published on this theme, qualitatively assessing the obtained information. As result, this study can confirm the relevance of digital literacy on the digital inclusion process. Besides, this research has shown that taking digital technology and applying it on a school environment enables the offer of new resources, capable of aiding teacher and student in the teach-learning process, thus enabling new practices and means to pursue a better education.

With over than seven years in the translation business, I strive for freshness and high quality in everything I do.
I found a real passion working with audiovisual media, both subtitles and script translation for dubbing, because every project will be idfferent, with their own challenges and solutions. The same thing goes for Video Game translation, each project is a world of its own.
Also there's the creative side on it. I love adjusting the text so it can feel real to Brazilian audiences and they can have as much fun watching or playing somethign as I have working on their localizations.
Summarizing, by working in these areas, I can never have a boring day, since everytime there's something new or interesting to learn or to do, or at lest, some word puzzle I'll have to decypher so it can fit perfectly, as all things should do.
