Source text - Norwegian (Bokmal) Boynton and Richardson discussed the possibility of achieving the same reach through Twitter as through broadcast channels. Although there is no direct sense of audience in the communication on Twitter, the use of hashtags and retweeting certainly enable interaction. In a traditional broadcast medium there is no interaction. The traditional broadcast medium has one sender with a distant figure and a message to a large audience. Twitter on the other hand, gives room for interaction between users.

Selv om det ikke er noe publikum for kommunikasjonen på Twitter, sørger bruken av emneknagger og deling av tweets definitivt for en interaksjon.
