My interests lie in translating texts relating to Visual Arts, Fashion (I worked as a designer for over 12 years), Music and Education, Sports and Literature.

I have been a member of the Translation Bureau of Canada for several years as well as the Ontario Modern Language Teachers Association. I am a full time teacher of French, Spanish and Art at the High School level and work very hard at maintaining a high level in those languages. I also have knowledge and considerable fluency in Italian and German. Because I've spent time living in France and Spain, I've attained native-like fluency to complement my degrees in these two languages. Last year I completed a Master in Education in the area of Second Language Learning at the University of Toronto. Although I have an excellent command of Spanish and French, still my experience in the area of translation is somewhat limited. My most recent experience includes the translation of a 10,000 word manual in acupuncture for sports medicine from Spanish to English.
Occasionally, I translate musical texts into English from French, Italian, German and Spanish (I'm especially fond of this area because I'm an avid music lover and an amateur singer/pianist myself). I've also done translation and interpretation in the tourism industry.
Because my experience is limited I offer lower rates, but there is no compromise on quality or accuracy.
