I'm a native Brazilian Portuguese translator, and I have almost 3
years of experience as a subtitle translator. Also, I have a
post-graduate degree in Audiovisual Translation in the
English-Portuguese pair from Estácio de Sá University. In my course, I
was prepared to translate for subtitles, closed captions, dubbing
scripts, audio-description, and software localization. Furthermore, I
launched my freelance translation business after a successful ten-years
career as a high school teacher. Having worked with different subjects, I
have a strong background in pedagogical, historical, sociological, and
philosophical terminology in both languages.

I'm very familiarized with Subtitle Edit,
but I can also use Subtitle Workshop and Aegisub to do anything is
needed to create a subtitle. Besides, I also have familiarity with CAT
Tools (mainly Trados and Wordfast).

Having worked with different
clients around the world, I've created subtitles for movies, series,
documentaries, interviews, courses, and so on. Also, I have experience with software localization.
