Hi, I'm Ennys, a newly-minted translator and editor. Although I am new in the field, I am not new to working with languages and juggling them on a daily basis: now living in Wales and using Welsh, English and Breton on a daily basis, I used to live in Brittany, France, where I first worked as a BReton language tutor for adults through the medium of French, then as a middle school teacher of English through the medium of Breton.
I just finished a PhD thesis about medieval translation, analyzing the translation processes of a Middle Welsh translation of a Latin text. Through studying and analyzing translation, I have come to a better understanding of how it works.
In the past I have volunteered of a translator of several websites, translating French and Breton to Dutch, my native language, and I have also translated textbook material for my middle school courses from French to Breton. I also have plenty of experience translating historical languages (Latin, Greek, the medieval Celtic languages) to Dutch, English, French and Breton.
