I have lived in Bulgaria for a total of 13 years and speak Bulgarian at home with my partner. I have read Bulgarian newspapers, novels and so on for over 10 years and have an extensive knowledge of Bulgarian culture, both popular and high culture, and current affairs and media. 

I have translated several books from Bulgarian into English on topics such as healthy eating, our relationships to nature and personal development. I have translated one short allegorical novel for adults and one children's book. I have translated many articles for online publications on topics as diverse as K-Pop , Bulgarian national figures in history , science teaching, Spanish and Latin American travel and culture. I also regularly translate medical reports and formal correspondence for a private health clinic in Bulgaria and have translated academic articles for dental specialists.
