I’m very passionate about languages and cultures in general. My professional background is mostly comprised of higher education and the nonprofit sector. I worked for The Salvation Army for five years and I attribute my experience there to the awakening of my calling of giving a voice to those that are not privileged to have one. I’m very motivated to help others but I want to be able to do it right. That's why I'm currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Strategic Communications with a concentration on Advocacy and Social Impact. It is my hope to be able to use these tools in both languages, English and Spanish in order to reach more people by eliminating the language and culture barriers.

I’m an avid soccer fan and I’m not ashamed to say that food makes me happy.
