Bio

I am a chartered linguist at the UK's prestigious Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL). I believe that the skills and knowledge that I have acquired through my education, and the experience that I have built up in various jobs as a translator, localizer, interpreter, lexicographer and researcher, are highly relevant to the services you need a linguist for.

My personal and professional life has revolved around languages. I am multilingual, mastering four languages (Arabic/ Kurdish Bahdini/ English/ Dutch), and I have four language-related qualifications, among these a PhD (University of Leeds, UK). Furthermore, I have co-edited two world-leading dictionaries: the Oxford Arabic Dictionary and the Dutch Arabic-Dutch dictionary (Radboud University, Netherlands).
