Bio

I am a dedicated freelance translator, translating from English and German languages to my native language Turkish. But I do also translate from Turkish to English and German, and from English to German and vice versa. I am a translator for more than a decade, using primarily Trados Studio as my favourite CAT-tool.

After graduating German Gymnasium in Istanbul, I studied Economics in Freiburg/Germany, later I returned to Istanbul and graduated Translation Studies/German Translation and Interpreting at Istanbul University in 2009.

I have been active for more than a decade in the translation sector, have experience in Translation Project Management as I have worked for two leading companies in Turkey, for the last 3 years (starting as of 2018-March) I have been busy with various translation tasks as a freelance translator.
