I have been living and working in the UK for 22 years. Having worked briefly in banking in my twenties, I moved on to the Public Sector where I gained a long professional experience in Local Authorities. I have worked in Social Housing, Procurement, Homeownership and Leasehold, and I currently work in Property (residential and commercial) and Contract Management. I have extensive knowledge of Local Authorities systems and processes and I am confident in translating technical property terms from English to Portuguese. 

I have done some work for TWB and I have been in different workplaces internal translators lists, helping colleagues with translation of documents for residents. 

I have had personal experience with the NHS and the health care in the UK, through my own experience and by caring for my mother who is registered disabled. 

I maintain my links with Portugal very much alive. I have family in Portugal and in 2019 I purchased a flat in the south of Portugal with my husband. This gave me further insight to the current property purchase/sale processes in Portugal. 

I achieved the CIOL DipTrans qualification in 2018 with two Distinctions and one Pass.
