Bio
I have twenty years of experience in finance, accounting and tax law. In July 2016 I decided that I wanted to make a
career switch. Since then I have been training to become a translator
English-Dutch. From October 2016 until January 2019 I passed all available translation examens of the LOI bachelor degree course
Translator English. I am now taking a two-year translation course English-Dutch/Dutch-English with Chris P. Odijk. From December 2017 until June 2018 I took Bartho Kriek's subtitling course and I got my certificate in June 2018. Therefore, I am a qualified subtitler (English-Dutch). Since September 2018 I have been doing a lot of subtitling work for the deaf and hard of hearing (Dutch into Dutch). I love being a professional translator and subtitler and I am looking forward to building up this career further.
