R & D for Phase I (24 months)
The initial capital required would be of 556483 €. Planned expenditures have been calculated according to the start-up development for three distinct stages. Within each of these stages, an expenditure peaks can be identified corresponding to purchasing of required hardware from manufacturers. Below you can find a cash-flow forecast for the first 24 months of activity.
Stage I (Jan-Sep 2019) – Start-Up Foundation
From the developmental perspective, the key milestone of this process is founding the start-up and expanding it rapidly within the first 9 months. Stage I would be required for the submission of the business plan and planning of expenditures to be submitted to EXIST. This will be the core stage is which a corporate identity is established with correlated expenses such as hiring of first personnel and investments on trademarks assets and rights. From the technical perspective, the first hardware and software necessary for the creation of our first prototype will be acquired. Technical tasks include hardware integration, the creation of VR environments able to host carefully-designed rehabilitation protocols. In parallel, marketing strategies will be aimed to evaluate competitors´ assets and to predict the market´s direction in preparation to our entry.
Stage II (Oct 2019- Jun 2020) – Product Development
The key milestone for Stage II will consist in the development of a full working prototype ready for clinical testing including most of the technical feature intended to be implemented. For example, the control unit interface platform and the diagnostics system will be integrated to the previous prototype and tested. In this phase, capital will be invested for initial market and scientific research as well as coaching and consulting. Additional hardware and software will be purchased to keep a high developmental pace due to the growth in the numbers team´s members. In Stage II we will also start extensive networking to expose our ideas and solutions. Funding will be destined to advertising as well as participating to events such as scientific and business conferences.
Stage III (July 2020-Dec 2020) – Business Foundation
The end of Stage III be the culmination of our efforts. The key milestone of this phase is having negotiated potential investors and having them supporting our solutions financially. This time period will overlap with our business foundation and at the very end rewarding us with our first products ready to be launched on the market. One of the most important tasks for this phase would be acquiring the CE mark and related patents for our products. Costs will raise due to opening fees such as launching the company, purchase of additional hardware and software, business and legal consultancy, and marketing. For a technical perspective, we will finally implement our gamification concept as well as the most complex feature of our technology – machine learning adaptive algorithms.

Sales Strategy
Our first and second products, the X and Y will be launched on the market after the second year of the company´s creation on the domestic market. At the beginning, our product might not be eligible for insurance reimbursement but we aim to prevent this issue but starting to obtain the CE mark and negotiate with private and public insurance companies early on to increase returns. After our products are launched to the market, we will aim to quickly expand to other territories within Germany with the highest population of prosthetic users, such as Bavaria, and then to the International market. A sales and distribution strategy expanding fast is necessary in this field as the number of competitors for advanced medical technologies increase over the years but so does the expenditure for medical healthcare as well as e-Health in general . Our campaigns for increasing sales over the years will be finalized at targeted advertisements to both clinicians and patients as well as building a reputation both in the scientific field and as trustworthy medical provider. For years 1 and 2 our products will be in development and no income would be generated through their sales. Nevertheless, and as specified in other sections of this paper, we aim to negotiate with several investors who are interested in our solutions. After that, due to the novelty of our products and our rapid expanding strategies within National and International markets, we expect an exponential growth between year 3 and 4 – coincidentally to the full development and presence on the market of our products for 1 year – before leading to an estimated steady increase of 20% in profits between years 4 and 5.

Phase I wäre für die Einreichung des Businessplans und die Planung der Ausgaben bei EXIST erforderlich. Dies wird die Kernphase sein, in der eine Corporate Identity mit den damit verbundenen Kosten wie der Einstellung des ersten Personals und Investitionen in Markenwerte und -rechte etabliert wird. Aus technischer Sicht wird die erste Hard- und Software angeschafft, die für die Erstellung unseres ersten Prototypen notwendig ist. Zu den technischen Aufgaben gehören die Hardware-Integration und die Erstellung von VR-Umgebungen, die in der Lage sind, sorgfältig konzipierte Rehabilitationsprotokolle zu hosten. Parallel dazu werden die Marketingstrategien darauf abzielen, die Vermögenswerte von Mitbewerbern zu bewerten und die Richtung der Märkte in Vorbereitung auf unseren Eintrag vorherzusagen.
Phase II (Okt 2019- Jun 2020) - Produktentwicklung
Der wichtigste Meilenstein für Phase II wird in der Entwicklung eines voll funktionsfähigen Prototyps bestehen, der für die klinische Erprobung bereit ist und den größten Teil der technischen Merkmale enthält, die implementiert werden sollen. So werden zum Beispiel die Steuergeräteschnittstellenplattform und das Diagnosesystem in den bisherigen Prototyp integriert und getestet. In dieser Phase wird Kapital für erste Markt- und wissenschaftliche Forschung sowie in Coaching und Beratung investiert. Zusätzliche Hard- und Software wird angeschafft, um das hohe Entwicklungstempo durch das Wachstum der Mitgliederzahlen der Teams aufrechtzuerhalten. In Phase II werden wir auch ein umfangreiches Netzwerk aufbauen, um unsere Ideen und Lösungen zu präsentieren. Die Mittel werden sowohl für die Werbung als auch für die Teilnahme an Veranstaltungen wie wissenschaftlichen und geschäftlichen Konferenzen verwendet.
Phase III (Juli 2020-Dez 2020) - Unternehmensgründung
Das Ende der dritten Phase ist der Höhepunkt unserer Bemühungen. Der wichtigste Meilenstein dieser Phase ist es, potenzielle Investoren auszuhandeln und unsere Lösungen finanziell zu unterstützen. Dieser Zeitraum wird sich mit unserer Geschäftsgrundlage überschneiden und uns am Ende mit unseren ersten marktreifen Produkten belohnen. Eine der wichtigsten Aufgaben in dieser Phase wäre die Erlangung des CE-Zeichens und der entsprechenden Patente für unsere Produkte. Die Kosten werden durch Eröffnungsgebühren wie Gründung des Unternehmens, Anschaffung zusätzlicher Hard- und Software, Unternehmens- und Rechtsberatung sowie Marketing steigen. Aus technischer Sicht werden wir schließlich unser Spielkonzept sowie das komplexeste Merkmal unserer Technologie - die adaptiven Algorithmen desmaschinellen Lernens - umsetzen .

Vertriebsstrategie
Unsere ersten und zweiten Produkte, X und Y, werden nach dem zweiten Jahr der Gründung der Firma auf dem heimischen Markt eingeführt. Am Anfang ist unser Produkt vielleicht nicht erstattungsfähig, aber wir wollen dieses Problem angehen, indem wir damit beginnen, die CE-Kennzeichnung zu erhalten und frühzeitig mit privaten und öffentlichen Versicherungsgesellschaften verhandeln, um die Rückzahlung zu erhöhen. Nach der Markteinführung unserer Produkte streben wir eine zügige Expansion in andere Gebiete Deutschlands mit dem höchsten Anteil an Prothesenanwendern, wie z.B. Bayern, und dann in den internationalen Markt an. Eine schnell wachsende Vertriebsstrategie ist in diesem Bereich notwendig, da die Zahl der Wettbewerber für fortschrittliche medizinische Technologien im Laufe der Jahre zunimmt, so aber auch die Ausgaben für medizinische Versorgung und e-Health im Allgemeinen . Unsere Kampagnen zur Umsatzsteigerung im Laufe der Jahre werden durch gezielte Werbung bei Klinikern und Patienten sowie durch den Aufbau einer Reputation sowohl im wissenschaftlichen Bereich als auch als vertrauenswürdiger medizinischer Anbieter abgeschlossen. Für die Jahre 1 und 2 befinden sich unsere Produkte in der Entwicklung und es werden keine Einnahmen aus dem Verkauf generiert. Dennoch, und wie in anderen Abschnitten dieses Plans beschrieben, sind wir bestrebt, mit mehreren Investoren zu verhandeln, die an unseren Lösungen interessiert sind. Danach erwarten wir aufgrund der Neuheit unserer Produkte und unserer schnell wachsenden Strategien in den nationalen und internationalen Märkten ein exponentielles Wachstum zwischen den Jahren 3 und 4 - genau zur vollen Entwicklung und Marktpräsenz unserer Produkte für das erste Jahr - bevor wir zwischen den Jahren 4 und 5 zu einer geschätzten stetigen Gewinnsteigerung von 20% kommen.
