Bio

Introduction

I am an English to Czech translator specializing in Life Sciences. My most significant areas of expertise include immunology, microbiology, haematology, and other related subjects. My detailed knowledge and understanding of these fields is supported by a master's degree in General and Applied Biochemistry from UCT Prague. During my studies, I completed additional courses focused on immunology and drugs and research, further deepening my technical specialization. Although I focus mainly on Life Sciences, I always like to take up new challenges and work on various different projects as well.

Experience

Full-time translator since 2017, working mainly in the following fields:

  • Laboratory instrumentation: instructions for use for automated haematology, immunochemistry and chemistry analysers, flow cytometers, laboratory automation systems
  • Assay procedures: immunological assays, antimicrobial susceptibility kits, microbiology testing
  • Others: internal quality management system documentation, customer letters, safety data sheets, etc.
