Bio

Looking for a professional translator? You just found one!

                                                                                       ABOUT ME

I am a full-time, professional translator and interpreter who grew up in Bolivia, speaking French, Spanish and English. At 18 I moved to France where I attended university and obtained a B.A. in Applied Languages (applied to what? Well... to translation and interpretation of course!). Today, I live in Dallas, TX.

Since I graduated I have held in-house translator positions in different companies in Bolivia and in the United States. My last in-house translator position before becoming a freelancer was at the largest insurance company in the United States. I worked as part of a group of 10 translators/reviewers who took care of translation requests from the company's offices and agents all around the country.

The bulk of our work consisted of translating insurance, legal, medical, banking, life/death documentation, manuals, as well as all of the company's digital content and publications covering a myriad of topics.

My other passions in life are web design, music production and audio engineering, computers (I built mine!), technology, photography and design, film/video.
