Translating "The Analects of Confucius; translated by James Legge" into Arabic
Currently, I'm working on the translation of "The Analects of Confucius; translated by James Legge" (Arabic Version - Source Text 10,000 words)) for a present client. The project, for me, is a proof that being a translator makes me more knowledgeable as I have never got the chance to read for such a remarkable philosopher. However, working on the present project provided me with that chance- not only going through his words but also the whole process of searching and discussing his works with colleagues (some of which were among my students and currently are graduates of Chinese Department, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Cairo, Egypt). I truly appreciate having such opportunity to learn something new.
