Growing up in a family of nurses and medics influenced me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science/Athletic Training. I have 14 years of professional experience in the Medical Field, primarily in Orthopaedics, working in a variety of roles as a clinical assistant and physical rehab specialist. Medical terminology is second nature to me and therefore my specialty.  I have 8 years of paid experience as a Spanish Medical interpreter, working in a variety of settings including Pediatric, Urology, Orthopaedic, Psychology and more, some educational settings, and occasionally doing some written translation work. I am looking to gain more experience with written translation projects and serve a wider client base.
