As an English ESL/EFL teacher for more than 15 years, I´ve gathered a lot of experience in the field, which in addition to the specific courses I´ve been taking in translation for the past three, provided me with the knowledge needed for this job.

My university background in Computer Science, Tourism and Linguistics make me particularly skillful in the translation of themes related to the social sciences, technology and hospitality as well as localization. Nevertheless, and as my quite long and close relationship to language shows, I can safely say that my experience is not limited by my titles; it is much broader, including competence in such fields as appertain to my hobbies, e.g. literature, history, philosophy, sports & games and movies.
I don´t shun away from challenges and I welcome changes, and although I recognize that some fields have a greater degree of complexity than others do, I can easily adapt to them as well. My communication skills are the highest and I bring this to my work every day.
I strive to produce accurate and precise translations in a timely fashion and I can usually translate 2000 (technical) - 2500 (general) words/day.
My rate is negotiable according to the volume and the subject and I grant discounts for large amounts and repetitions. Generally, I accept payments by wire transfer and PayPal.
