Source text - English The Anatomy of a Human Firewall
Imagine a world where cyber attacks get extinguished before they can spread.
Picture a work environment where you never have to worry if the attachment you received via email is actually a malicious document.
Sounds great, right?
Perhaps advances in technology will provide this utopia at some point in the future.
But, until then, we need YOU to create this world.
You are the first line of defense—the human firewall we trust to help dismantle cyber threats and mitigate security events.

English > Brazilian Portuguese translator/reviewer working in the translation industry since 1995 in Brazil and the USA.
I started my career working as a home based translator of technical documentation for IBM. I worked for PeopleSoft Brazil for two years as a freelance translator, translating and localizing the applications interface, technical documentation, training and marketing material, before being hired as Translator Coordinator. As a Coordinator, I managed a team of translators, performed quality assurance and helped create the department style guide. After that, I worked as a Language Specialist for Brazilian Portuguese at Oracle Brazil. At Oracle, I was responsible for enabling the translation vendors to deliver quality translations, by addressing their terminology issues, but also approving glossaries, performing quality assurance, and testing the final product. In the USA, I translated for companies as The Body Shop, and Fendi.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Language Arts from the University of São Paulo, and a Master's Degree in Management from FGV.
My areas of specialization are: information technology, business, marketing, training material, fashion, and cosmetics, among others.
