Free legal aid for asylum seekers

Meet our qualified lawyers on the following days, and don’t forget to bring your documents!
In 2013 Legal Aid Service provides legal aid to asylum seekers through contracted legal assistants. Legal aid is delivered with the support of the European Refugee Fund.
For those who already applied for asylum, free legal assistance can be granted during the asylum procedure.
Legal aid is delivered regularly by our contracted lawyers on appointed days at the reception centres
Consulting hours take place at the appointed time, preannounced at the reception centre.
The lawyer provides legal aid during the asylum procedure according to the terms set at the first consultation
The following forms of legal aid are available:
Legal advice, drafting documents:
information about the asylum procedure,
drafting applications for legal remedy
Representation:
legal representation during the detailed part of the asylum procedure and the legal remedy procedures
Requirements for the provision of legal aid are the following:
submission of the asylum application,
cooperation with the lawyer providing legal aid,
cooperation with the interpreter assisting the lawyer,
filling in and signing the application form for legal aid,
retaining the lawyer
(presentation of the humanitarian residence permit)
