I am Kepler, an English/Chinese full-time freelance translator with more than 10 years of translation experiences, having capability of using CATs, such as SDL Trados 2011, OmegaT, Fortis, Smartling, Wordfast Anywhere (WFA) and so on. My three available translation pairs including Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) to English, Simplified Chinese (China, Mandarin) to English, and English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).
In addition to general translation cases, such as letters, web pages on websites, etc., I am particularly proficient in technical translations, such as semiconductor (including materials), electronics, IT, communication, software, mechanics and so forth because I have ever been R&D engineer in technical industries for 12 years, during which I cooperated with foreign experts and scientists from different continents and countries and communicate with them frequently to accomplish projects. Specially, I am pretty experienced in translation of patent specifications and theirs OAs (Office Actions) and Responses/Replies, which translation experience begun since 2000.
