Source text - English Toyota first to price a fuel-cell vehicle
Toyota has made clear its belief that hydrogen-fuelled – not battery-powered – cars are the most viable replacement for fossil-fuel-burning vehicles. The company's most emphatic statement came at the 2014 Los Angeles auto show this month, where it unveiled the hydrogen-powered Mirai. The car, whose name derives from the Japanese word for "future", travels 300 miles on a single tank of hydrogen, refuels in just five minutes and emits only water vapour. Unlike other carmakers who have offered fuel-cell electric vehicles or FCEVs as lease-only propositions. Toyota is first to put a price on such a car, at $57,000 in the US. Though availability is initially limited to select markets in California. Toyota is building 12 hydrogen refueling stations across five states in the US northeast, with expectations of marketing the Mirai in that region after the initial rollout. Expect to see them on California roads in late 2015.

Source text - English Snapchat is taking a small step toward actually taking your privacy seriously.
Starting this week, the photo-sharing app will warn you if another app on your phone is saving your pictures. That matters, because the whole point of Snapchat is that photos have a self-destruct timer.
This feature makes Snapchat a favorite for sexting -- sending nude images.
But there's a false sense of privacy, because numerous third-party apps like SaveSnap, SnapBox and SnapSpy offer users the ability to save incoming photos.
This is why Snapchat isn't really private. The whole system has a massive hole. It's partly the fault of users for downloading the stuff, and Snapchat for not blocking them entirely.
Messages gone in 10 secs worth billions?
In the past, Snapchat has asked users not to use third-party apps that tap into the company's computer code -- but it hasn't shut them down the way Twitter has.
On Tuesday, the company issued this statement: "Starting today, we will notify Snapchatters when we have detected that they may be using third-party apps and we'll ask those Snapchatters to change their password and stop using unauthorized apps."
But that doesn't actually do the job It merely warns you about apps on your phone. It doesn't stop your Snapchat buddy from using third-party apps on his or her device.
The flaw is still around.

Source text - English The universe is flat and why that's important
Inflation also gave cosmologists the measuring tool they needed to determine the underlying geometry of the universe. It turns out this is also crucial for understanding how the cosmos came from nothing.
Einstein's theory of general relativity tells us that the space-time we live in could take three different forms. It could be as flat as a table top. It could curve back on itself like the surface of a sphere, in which case if you travel far enough in the same direction. You would end up back where you started. Alternatively, space-time could curve outward like a saddle. So which is it?
There is a way to tell. You might remember from maths class that the three angles of a triangle add up to exactly 180 degrees. Actually your teachers left out a crucial point: this is only true on a flat surface. If you draw a triangle on the surface of a balloon, its three angles will add up to more than 180 degrees. Alternatively, if you draw a triangle on a surface that curves outward like a saddle, its angles will add up to less than 180 degrees.
So to find out if the universe is flat, we need to measure the angles of a really big triangle. That's where inflation comes in. It determined the average size of the warmer and cooler patches in the cosmic microwave background. Those patches were measured in 2003, and that gave astronomers a selection of triangles. As a result, we know that on the largest observable scale our universe is flat.
