I am a Spanish to English translator with a specialization in financial and business translation. I have a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics from The George Washington University. I am a native English speaker from San Antonio, Texas and I am currently based in Arequipa, Peru.
Within the field of economics I worked as a research fellow at the Institute for International Economics. I also worked in accounting at HOOP Peru, and finance and marketing at Awamaki. This has given me the opportunity to familiarize myself with the language and documentation used in these fields, allowing me to provide flawless technical translations.
I have experience with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL and PHP. I also have years of experience teaching English, as well as teaching business and computer classes in Spanish. This has required thorough study of both the English and Spanish languages.
Previous translation projects include: microloan applications from Latin America, NGO budget proposal, marketing graphics and a community needs survey.
