I was born and raised in South Africa, Pretoria, but both of my parents are Czech, which has made me
a native speaker in both the Czech and English language.
In June 2017, I received my bachelor’s degree at the Czech Technical University in Prague - Faculty
of Electrical Engineering, programme Electrical Engineering and Management.
As I am native in two languages and my father is also a translator, it was an obvious choice to become
a translator too. I started translating with my father at the age of fifteen and about five years ago I
started working as a translator myself. In August 2014 I became a freelance member of the translating
company ProTranslating.
