Source text - English Suggested wording for the invigilator's announcement at the beginning of a written examination:
(You may wish to laminate copies of this announcement or alternatively record it on a CD or tape.)
1. You must now follow the regulations of the examination.
2. Only material listed on the question paper is allowed in the exam room. You must not have pn or near you any other material.
3. Check your pockets now. Check for things such as notes, books, papers, iPods and mobile phones. If you have any unauthorised items in your possession, you must hand tchem in to an inwigilator now. Failure to do so may lead to disquialification.
4. (For examinations with books that are allowed, add "check that no notes or papers have accidentally been left inside any book you are allowed to have in the examination room and that you have the correct edition of the allowed set text(s)".)
5. (for examinations where a calculator is allowed, add "make sure that the lid, case, or cover of your calculator does not have printed formulas or instructions:.)
6. Check that you have been given the correct paper for your subject, unit and level or tier.
7. Fill in all the details needed on the front of your answer book (or question paper). Make sure you fill these details in on any additional answer sheets that you use.

8. Read the instructions on the front of the question paper. (You may read these out to the candidates, if required.)
9. Check that you have all the materials you need for the exam.

11. You must write in the designated sections of the answer booklet.
12. You must write all rough work in your answer book and neatly cross it through with a single line. For multiple-choice papers, add "you must do any rough work in the question book."
13. You must not use correcting pens, fluid or tape, erasable pens, blotting paper. You must not use highlighters or gel pens in your answers.
14. You must not communicate in any way with, ask for help from or give help to another candidate while you are in this exam room. You should put up your hand to attract the invigilator's attention.
15. If thr fire alarm sounds, please stay seated - wait for instructions from the inwigilator.

Translation - Polish Sugerowana treść ogłoszenia jakie egzaminator powinien wygłosić na początku egzaminu pisemnego:
(Możesz laminować kopie niniejszego ogłoszenia lub ewentualnie nagrać na płycie CD lub kasecie.)
1. Od teraz muszą Państwo przestrzegać wytycznych dotyczących egzaminu.
2. Tylko materiały wymienione na pierwszej stronie arkuszy egzaminacyjnych są dozwolone w sali egzaminacyjnej. Nie wolno posiadać lub mieć w pobliżu żadnych innych materiałów.
3. Proszę o sprawdzenie kieszeni. Proszę sprawdzić, czy w kieszeniach nie mają Państwo poniższych rzeczy: notatki, książki, iPody lub telefony komórkowe. Jeśli posiadają Państwo jakiekolwiek z wymienionych rzeczy, należy je oddać osobie przeprowadzającej egzamin. Niezastosowanie się do tego może doprowadzić do dyskwalifikacji.

7. Należy wypełnić wszystkie niezbędne dane na pierwszej stronie arkusza odpowiedzi (lub arkusza egzaminacyjnego). Należy upewnić się, iż wypełnią Państwo te informacje także na wszystkich pozostałych arkuszach odpowiedzi, z których będą państwo korzystać.

12. Należy pisać w arkuszu odpowiedzi, a w przypadku błędu należy starannie przekreślić błąd jedną ciągłą linią. Przy testach wielokrotnego wyboru, należy dodać "nie mogą Państwo robić żadnych notatek w arkuszu z pytaniami."
13. Nie wolno używać korektora, taśmy, długopisów zmazywalnych oraz bibuły. Nie wolno używać długopisów żelowych oraz podkreślaczy w arkuszach odpowiedzi.
14. W trakcie przebywania w sali egzaminacyjnej nie wolno w żaden sposób komunikować się z innymi studentami, prosić o pomoc lub udzielać pomocy innym. Należy podnieść rękę jeżeli są jakieś pytania w trakcie egzaminu, tak by osoba pilnująca mogła podejść i pomóc.
15. Jeśli włączy się alarm przeciwpożarowy w trakcie egzaminu, proszę pozostać na swoich miejscach i oczekiwać na instrukcje osoby pilnującej.
Należy powiadomić kandydatów, o godzinie rozpoczęcia i zakończenia egzaminu.
