I
taught “Information technology for AV translators and adapters” and “From
theory to practice - The transition from translation to adaptation” in AVT,
dialogues adaptation for dubbing and subtitling Master held at Università degli
Studi di Roma Tor Vergata. I currently work as audiovisual translator (since
2016) and dialogue writer, I also expanded my skills in translation project
managing and in the academic research area. I worked as team leader of junior
and less experienced translators and as proofreader and QA. I regularly attend
international conferences about audiovisual domain.

Education

Specialist
degree in Specialized Translation (Università degli Studi di Bari “Aldo Moro”,
2012-2014), medical domain mostly. I developed interest for audiovisual
translation and I wrote a thesis on the problems of dubbing from English into
Italian of the TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" with linguistic
transposition analysis. I enrolled in a Master on Audiovisual translation and
adaptation, after which I have been tutored by a professional adaptor with more
than 40 years of experience.

Now
I would like to further improve my knowledge and my field of expertise since I
cultivate strong interest for audiodescription, localization (game field
especially) and comic books translation - Yes, of course I am a gamer and a
comic book reader.
