Nu staat er een festival waar meer dan vijftig films vertoond worden. Waar ruim tweehonderd wetenschappers, regisseurs en producenten van over de hele wereld samen komen en praten over film en wetenschap. Waar meer dan twintig kunstenaars met hun werk de relatie verkennen tussen kunst en wetenschap. InScience is een platform voor de ontmoeting tussen publiek, film, wetenschap, kunst en bedrijfsleven. Die ontmoeting draagt niet alleen bij aan de versterking van stad en regio, maar verwerft landelijke betekenis. InScience is werkelijkheid geworden dankzij de Economische Raad Nijmegen, die het idee omarmde. Het was aan het InScience-team en aan een grote groep betrokken vrijwilligers om een droom werkelijkheid te laten worden. De bezoeker mag beoordelen of we daarin zijn geslaagd, of de eerste editie van InScience inderdaad de belofte in zich draagt om het festival uit te laten groeien tot een traditie. De Kennis van Nu gaat mee op expeditie en verblijft drie maanden in een oud Sovjet-weerstation op de toendra, voor het echte veldwerk. Every five minutes, the apparatus saves the exact location of the goose. Now Thomas is returning to Russia to find the geese with the trackers and to download the data.
