I have been translating for 7 years informally, and professionally since 2014. I have studied Japanese since 1996 and have a B.A. in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Victoria. I was fortunate enough to live in Kyoto for two years and attend Doshisha University as an exchange student studying Japanese literature, and hope to go back someday soon.
I love using my creativity to localize games and manga, and most recently have enjoyed being the lead translator for such games as “One Way Heroics Plus” and “Garden Tale.” Some of my other passions are animal welfare, environmental science, and social welfare issues, and I am always eager to use my experience in these areas to provide elegant and accurate translations. |
