Source text - English 2.1 DATA COLLECTION METHODS
All required data for this study are to be collected with standardized CRFs for individual subjects. The CRFs must be signed by the Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator for each subject enrolled in the study. Study Coordinators or a designee at each clinical site will perform primary data collection drawn from source document reviews. Collection and recording of subject data should be kept current to reflect subject status during the course of the study. The CRFs will be completed in the electronic database prospectively and in a timely manner.
CRF Instructions will be provided to assist the Investigator(s) and Study Coordinators in the completion of the required CRFs.
Primary data collection on the CRFs will be based on source document reviews performed by Study Coordinators or a designee at each clinical site. Study personnel will each be assigned a unique user name and password to access the database.
Study subjects will be asked to consent, in writing, that their data can be entered into a central database.
All clinical sites will be monitored periodically by the Sponsor or its designee for clinical protocol adherence, accuracy of CRFs, and compliance to applicable regulations. Evident patterns of non-compliance with respect to these standards will be cause for corrective action. If corrective actions are not subsequently undertaken, the clinical site will be asked to withdraw from the trial.

Source text - English For better or worse, games have been ringing changes on the same few subjects. There’s probably something deep in the reptile brain that is deeply satisfied by jumping puzzles,* but you’d think that by now we would have jumped over everything in every possible way.
When I first started playing games, everything was tile-based,* meaning that you moved in discrete squares, as if you were popping from tile to tile on a tiled floor.
Early platform videogames* followed a few basic gameplay paradigms:
• “Get to the other side” games: Frogger,* Donkey Kong,* Kangaroo.* These are not really very dissimilar. Some of these featured a time limit, some didn’t.
• “Visit every location” games: Probably the best-known early platformer like this was Miner 2049er.* Pac-Man and Q*Bert* also made use of this mechanic. The most cerebral of these were probably Lode Runner and Apple Panic,* where the map traversal could get very complex, given the fact that you could modify the map to a degree.
Games started to meld these two styles, then they added scrolling environments. Eventually designers added playing in 3-D on rails,* and finally made the leap to true 3-D* with Mario 64.
