I am Brazillian and I currently live in Nuremberg, Germany, since 2.5 years.
I have had a number of experiences abroad. I lived in France in my childhood, in Spain for an internship, visited some European countries for tourism and spent vacations twice in the US. I am a native Portuguese speaker and fluent in French, Spanish and English.
I am a freelance translator since 2009, when I began to help my parents with their translations to get extra money. My parents, both professors in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, often received books to translate and review, transferred some of them to me and reviewed my job. In 2013, I completed a graduation course in the Pharmacy and Biochemistry School in the University of Sao Paulo while keeping translation as a hobby. In 2014, I took translation as a profession and started to work on it full-time. I am specialized in patents and in documents related to the medical, pharmaceutical and chemical fields. I do projects for the main pharmaceutical industries.
During my education, I have mainly worked with research and in the pharmaceutical industry; there, I became aware of the most used the terminologies in both fields. Curiously, all my jobs included some activity with translation!
I am getting more deep inside translation as I am passionate for what I do. I am constructing a curriculum with courses and experiences and starting a new language, German. I speak honestly to clients, in order to guarantee the best job.
