Source text - English Musculoskeletal pain is prevalent and disabling and can stem from many conditions. Learn how physiotherapy, over-the-counter analgesics and therapeutic heat can all be used to alleviate musculoskeletal pain.
Joint pain is very common: in a global online survey of over 24,000 people across 24 countries, 87% reported that they had experienced joint pain. The World Health Organisation estimates that, by 2050, 130 million people worldwide will suffer from a chronic form of joint pain – osteoarthritis.
A variety of physiotherapeutic interventions are available for back pain. Several guideline bodies recommend application of low-level superficial heat for back pain relief. Indeed, superficial heat is the only non-pharmacological treatment for low back pain that is rated as having a good evidence of efficacy. Certain forms of exercise as part of multidisciplinary rehabilitation can also improve pain and function, as can physiotherapy that combines massage, exercise and education.
Next, more specific questions about back and neck pain can help guide treatment options: for example, the affected area, the type of pain, the symptoms, any aggravating factors, and treatments the patient is already using.
Appropriate interviewing can also help determine whether the patient should be referred. The patient should be immediately referred to an emergency department if the back pain is severe (particularly if it also involves the legs or middle and upper back), or if it is accompanied by any of the following:
• Numbness or tingling around the genitals or buttocks
• Difficulty urinating
• Loss of bladder or bowel control
• Chest pain
• Fever of 38°C (100.4°F) or above
• Unexplained weight loss
• A swelling or a deformity in the back
• It doesn't improve after resting or is worse at night
• It started after a serious accident, such as after a car accident

Source text - English Before purchasing a photovoltaic system, it is a good idea to have a basic understanding of electricity. Simple familiarity with basic electrical terms and concepts will enable you to better understand your renewable energy system and use it with confidence.
The building blocks of an electrical vocabulary are voltage, amperage, resistance, watts and watt-hours. Electricity can simply be thought of as the flow of electrons (amperage) through a copper wire under electrical pressure (voltage) and is analogous to the flow of water through a pipe. If we think of copper wire in an electrical circuit as the pipe, then voltage is equivalent to pressure (psi) and amperage is equivalent to flow rate (gpm).
To continue with our electricity to water analogy, a battery stores energy much as a water tower stores water. Since a column of water 2.31 feet tall produces 1 psi at the base, the taller the water tower the higher the pressure you get at the base. As you can see from the picture to the right, the mushroom shape design of a water tower allows it to provide a large volume of water to end users at between 40-60 psi. Once drained below 40 psi which occurs near the neck of the tower, continued water usage will rapidly deplete the water supply at an ever decreasing pressure. Although a 12 volt battery is not physically shaped like a water tower, it has most of its stored electricity available between 12 volts to 12.7 volts. When drained below 12 volts, little amperage remains and the battery voltage will decrease rapidly.

Source text - English If possible, install the washing machine in a corner. This is usually the most stable part of the floor. Injury can occur if the washing machine has not been adequately secured. During installation, the washing machine must be secured on a plinth to be made available on site (concrete or brick), in order to ensure it cannot fall or slip. Secure the washing machine using a clamp/fastening bracket (MTS floor mounting kit – available from your Miele dealer or Miele spare parts department).
Transporting the washing machine to its installation site. Make sure the fixings at the back of the lid are secure. Otherwise there is a danger of the lid being pulled off when carrying the machine. Before carrying the machine check that the lid is secure where it protrudes at the back of the machine. Carry the washing machine by the front feet and by the lid where it protrudes at the back of the appliance.
Removing the transit bars
Remove the left and right covers.
1. Pull off the transit bar covers and then use a screwdriver to release the catches at the top and bottom.
2. Using the spanner supplied, turn the left-hand transit bar 90°, then withdraw the transit bar.
3. Turn the right-hand transit bar 90°, then withdraw the transit bar.
Risk of injury from sharp edges.
There is a risk of injury from reaching into holes that are not covered. Cover the holes for the transit bars after they have been removed. Fit the stoppers onto the two holes. Secure the transit bars to the back of the washing machine. Make sure that the top catch is located above the holder.
Risk of damage from incorrect transport.
The washing machine may become damaged if moved without the transit bars in place. Keep the transit bars in a safe place. Fit them again if the machine is to be moved (e.g. when moving house).

Source text - English Illegal vs. Irregular – why are both terms used?
Indeed, when referring to migration and migrants, both illegal and irregular are used, and often interchangeably. However, language and terms often carry certain meanings and suggest significances. In this regard the term ‘illegal’ carries a criminal connotation. Therefore, ‘irregular’ is preferable to ‘illegal’, as it reflects migrants’ humanity and the fact that not all are entering a country knowingly ‘illegally’ as well as the fact that some of them are refugees and/or victims of trafficking.
This perspective can also be observed in the fact that the Council of Europe distinguishes between illegal migration and an irregular migrant: based on Resolution 1509 (2006) of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, ‘illegal’ is preferred when referring to a status or process, whereas ‘irregular’ is preferred when referring to a person.
