KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

First, I am good with languages. During the six years I spent studying translation at the Faculty of Philology (University of Silesia, Poland) I not only learned to fluently speak English and French (plus some Chinese and Italian) – I also got to know a lot about language and communication in general, and acquired important skills that every professional translator must have in order to work effectively. An excellent opportunity to use my knowledge and to master my skills were also my multiple stays abroad (Erasmus exchange in France and Italy, work in Scotland and Ireland, internship in Luxembourg), where I could practice foreign languages in real life.

Furthermore, continuous professional development is extremely important to me. That is why last year I finished a postgraduate course in medical English (University of Wrocław, Poland) and I keep expanding my knowledge in this field by taking part in various translation courses and workshops. I also try to keep up-to-date with new technologies – this way the services I provide are always better and better, and they are adapted to the challenges of the modern world.
