I provide quality translation and editing services in English to Polish, Polish to English, and French to Polish language pairs.
My main weapons include:
PURPOSE IN MIND & EXCELLENT GPS
First, I am good with languages. During the six years I spent as a full-time student at the Faculty of Philology (University of Silesia, Poland) I not only learnt to fluently speak English and French (plus some Chinese and Italian) – I also learnt a lot about language and communication in general. I am well aware that the right choice of words as well as perfect command of the target language, including impeccable GPS (Grammar, Punctuation, and Style), are crucial for a successful communication and for achieving our goals. That is why in my translation work my main guiding principle is the purpose of the text and my client's requirements.
ENTHUSIASM & CURIOSITY
The status of a beginner gives me an important asset – that of being truly enthusiastic and passionate about my job. I know how important it is to provide quality services from the very beginning. Fortunately, thanks to my natural curiosity and perfectionism, I always try to get to the bottom of things and never settle for easy solutions. That is why you can be sure that I will leave no stone unturned and that I will always strive to find that perfect word or expression that will help you achieve your envisioned purpose. Furthermore, continuing professional development is extremely important to me. I am an eager learner and I keep acquiring new skills by self-education, attending translation workshops and webinars and keeping up-to-date with new technologies. This way the services I provide are always better and better and they are adapted to the challenges of the modern world.
Another perk of my beginner’s status and my still (relatively) young age is that I am available almost any time. I am not bound by family responsibilities, which is why I can be flexible and provide my services whenever you need them. Emergency translation to be delivered by Monday morning? Just drop me a line and we'll see what can be done.
