V minulosti jsem pracoval jako technik v oboru telekomunikací, z toho několik let u významné rakouské telekomunikační společnosti. Odborné výrazy používané v mých překladech v oboru telekomunikací a v dalších oblastech souvisejících jakkoliv s elektronikou a elektrotechnikou tak vycházejí z praktických zkušeností a odpovídají proto skutečnosti. Věcná správnost je u technických překladů nezbytným předpokladem!
V průběhu překladatelské praxe jsem získal potřebné know-how také v oboru strojírenství (NC obráběcí a frézovací centra, lisy a jejich periferie...) a disponuji objemnou databází ze stavebnictví (nasbíranou za více než 10 let).

Překlady „na volné noze“ provádíme společně s manželkou bez přestávky od roku 1994.

Na principu „4 očí“ čteme po sobě překlady navzájem. Díky tomu nemáme prakticky vůbec žádné reklamace.

Skoro od počátku činnosti používáme CAT nástroje - licenci na Trados pro verzi 2.0 jsme měli jako jedni z prvních v České republice! V současnosti používáme nejnovější verzi Studio 2022. Striktní dodržování termínů pro odevzdání překladů je samozřejmostí.

„Děláme technické překlady, které mají hlavu a patu“.

A na rozdíl od mediálně propagované umělé inteligence dobře rozumíme obsahu textu, který překládáme!

Früher war ich als Techniker im Telekom-Bereich beschäftigt, davon einige Jahre bei einem namhaften österreichischen Telekommunikationsunternehmen.
Die in meinen Übersetzungen aus dem Fachgebiet Telekommunikation und aus weiteren Gebieten verwendeten Fachbegriffe in Zusammenhang mit Elektronik
und Elektrotechnik basieren somit auf praktischen Erfahrungen und entsprechen daher der Realität. Denn die sachliche Richtigkeit von technischen Übersetzungen ist von grundlegender Bedeutung.

Im Zuge meiner langjährigen Übersetzertätigkeit erwarb ich zusätzlich Know-how im Fachgebiet Maschinenbau (NC-Dreh-/Fräszentren, Pressen und deren Peripherien...) und verfüge inzwischen über eine umfangreiche Terminologiedatenbank für Bauwesen (aufgebaut über einen Zeitraum von mehr als 10 Jahren).

Seit 1994 arbeiten meine Frau und ich ausschließlich als freiberufliche Übersetzer.

Wir lesen unsere Übersetzungen gegenseitig nach dem "4-Augen-Prinzip". Dank dieser Maßnahme haben wir praktisch keine Beanstandungen.

Nahezu von Anfang an setzen wir CAT-Tools ein: Wir hatten als allererstes privates Unternehmen eine Lizenz für Trados Version 2.0 in der Tschechischen Republik!

Momentan arbeiten wir mit der Version Studio 2022.

Eine strikte Einhaltung der Liefertermine ist bei uns selbstverständlich.

"Wir machen Übersetzungen, die Hand und Fuß haben".

Und im Gegensatz zur künstlichen Intelligenz, die in den Medien propagiert wird, verstehen wir den Inhalt des Textes, den wir übersetzen!

In the past I worked as a technician in the telecommunications industry, including several years with a major Austrian telecommunications company. The technical terms used in my translations in the field of telecommunications and in other areas related in any way to electronics and electrical engineering are therefore based on practical experience and therefore correspond to reality. Factual accuracy is a prerequisite for technical translations!

In the course of my translation practice I have also acquired the necessary know-how in the field of engineering (NC machining and milling centres, presses and their peripherals...) and I have a large database from the construction industry (collected over more than 10 years).

My wife and I have been freelance translators since 1994.

We read each other's translations on the principle of "4 eyes". As a result, we have virtually no complaints at all.

We have been using CAT tools almost from the beginning - we were one of the first in the Czech Republic to license Trados version 2.0! We are currently using Studio 2022. Strict adherence to deadlines for the submission of translations is a matter of course.

"We make technical translations that have a head and a tail".

And unlike the artificial intelligence promoted in the media, we understand the content of the text we are translating!
