Source text - Spanish PLANES DE MUESTREO Y NIVELES DE INSPECCIÓN.
El plan de muestreo indica el número de unidades de producto de cada lote que deben ser inspeccionadas, así como los límites de aceptación y rechazo. Diferenciaremos tres tipos de planes.
- Plan de muestreo simple.
- Plan de muestreo doble.
- Plan de muestreo múltiple.
Como norma general trabajaremos con el PLAN DE MUESTREO SIMPLE, aunque dependiendo del proveedor podemos pasar a un muestreo doble ó a un muestreo múltiple.
Una vez establecido el plan de muestreo determinamos el nivel de inspección, que es la relación entre el tamaño del lote y el tamaño de la muestra. Encontramos 7 niveles:
- Uso general:
Inspección reducida.
Inspección normal.
Inspección rigurosa.
- Uso especial: 4 niveles S1, S2, S3, S4.
Como norma se ha establecido el Nivel II de la INSPECCION NORMAL para revisiones y pruebas no destructivas, mientras que para pruebas destructivas hemos seleccionado el nivel S3 de uso especial.
Translation - English SAMPLING PLANS AND LEVELS OF INSPECTION.
The sampling plan indicates the number of product units of each lot that must be inspected, as well as the limits of acceptability and rejection. We differentiate three types of plans:
As a rule we will work with the SIMPLE SAMPLING PLAN, although depending on the supplier we can pass to a double sampling or a multiple sampling.
Once we have established the sampling plan we determine the level of inspection, which is the relation between the size of the lot and the size of the sample. We find 7 levels:
- General use :
Reduced inspection.
Normal inspection.
Rigorous inspection.
- Special use :
4 levels S1, S2, S3, S4.
As a rule we have established the Level II of the NORMAL INSPECTION for non-destructive revisions and tests, while for destructive tests we have selected level S3 of special use.

From 2002 to 2021 I worked as an English/Spanish translator/interpreter in Germaine de Capuccini, a Spanish cosmetics company based in Alcoy, Alicante. Since November 2021 I work as a freelance Spanish translator.
