Clicking on a hot spot opens a new window containing a close-up of that area. When the mouse cursor is over a zoomable area, it will change into a magnifying glass. You can pick up certain items. These items are automatically placed in your inventory. Click on the garden shovel to add it to your inventory. The garden shovel has been added to your inventory. To use it, click on the flower pot. Place the mouse cursor at the bottom of the screen. The inventory will open and display the garden shovel. Pick up the shovel. Now click on the dirt to dig through the flower pot. Then pick up the key and use it to enter the mansion. When you see a sparkling area, click on it to find items that will help your investigation. At the bottom of the screen is a list of the items you need to find. The rose at which the arrow is pointing is on the list. Click on the rose to collect it and cross it off the list. Then find the rest of the items.
