I have a BA Honours degree in English from the University of Southampton ( UK), a Post-graduate Certificate in Education from the University of London and a Masters in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Reading (UK).

I am currently based in Britain, but lived and worked in Venezuela for 22 years, where I qualified as a Public Interpreter (Spanish-English-Spanish) with the Ministry of Justice, Caracas, in 1998. I have sixteen years experience translating legal, commercial and technical documents into English and Spanish, including birth, marriage, divorce and school certificates, company charters, articles of association, contracts and technical manuals. I approach my translation work responsibly and pride myself on prompt and punctual delivery.

Apart from my work as a translator, I have taught English as a foreign language in schools, universities and industries in the UK and Venezuela, and have a keen interest in literature, art, philosophy and education. Over the last six years, I have published seven English language course books with world-recognised publishers, such as Macmillan, Harper Collins and Garnet Education.
