I am a 33 year old native spanish speaker who has lived in the united states since the age of 10. I am currently completing a PhD in Sociology at a top university in Massachusetts. My academic work requires that I read and translate high level academic research in both English and Spanish.

I am highly proficient in transcriptions, translations, and simultaneous interpretation.

I joined proz to formally begin a career in transcriptions and translations, thus I am willing to work at the base starting rate for beginner translators.

As I am graduate student, I have a flexible schedule which permits a fast turn-around time. Moreover, my extensive academic training has made me highly proficient in both English and Spanish.
